# SamFileTransfer

> Free file transfer with nothing to install. Send big files straight to the other person in seconds — up to 5 GB free, no account, and nothing left online.

SamFileTransfer sends large files directly between two browsers. Files are **never stored on a
server**: they move between the sender and the receiver while both have the page open. On the
free plan you can send 10 files a week; Max removes that limit. Shares are not
timed — a room is kept until it goes a week without being used. No account is needed to start.

## How it works
1. The sender opens a share and gets a short code and a link.
2. The code or link is given to the other side (also readable as a word name or a square code).
3. Files move directly. Nothing is kept afterwards.

A fair-use daily byte allowance applies to the free plan only, as an anti-abuse brake. Max has no
daily allowance.
