A security cookie used during sign-in to make sure the request came from you.

Your chosen name, your language and your cookie answer are kept in your own browser storage, not sent to us.

Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used so we can fix what confuses people, and Google Ads, which tells us whether an advert led to a visit.

Both stay switched off until you press Accept on the cookie bar. If you refuse, no analytics or advertising cookie is written at all.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you can still use the free service, but you will not be able to stay signed in.

To change your answer, clear this site’s data in your browser and the cookie bar asks again.
