Terms of Service

SamFileTransfer lets you send files to other people. You open a share, hand out a short code or link, and your files go to the people who join. We do not host your files: they move between the two sides while both are connected.

Because nothing is stored, a share only works while the people involved keep the page open.

You can use the free service without an account. Paid plans require an account, which you create by signing in with Google.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are charged in US dollars (USD); other currencies on the site are shown at the day’s rate for information only.

Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. Payment is taken on the same day of each month through our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

If a payment fails, we may retry it and pause your plan until it succeeds.

You can cancel at any time from the “Manage subscription” link on the pricing page, which opens your billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then stops.

Each plan comes with a daily transfer allowance and a limit on how many people can be in one share. These limits are shown on the pricing page and inside the product.

We may pause an account that goes far beyond normal use or that harms the service for others.

You may not use SamFileTransfer to send illegal material or anything you do not have the right to share. The full list is in our Acceptable Use Policy. Breaking it can end your access without a refund.

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We are not responsible for files that fail to arrive, for lost time, or for indirect losses.

Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will show it on this page with a new date before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
